Job Summary:
The District Medical Officer will be responsible for diagnosing and treating persons within the Primary Health Care setting. Work involves disease management, health promotion and disease prevention activities and supervision of a Health Team. Work is performed under the ambit of the Authority.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Training as evidenced by the possession of a recognized medical degree and Registration with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
- Postgraduate training and certification in family /community medicine.
- At least five (5) years post internship experience, of which three (3) years must be in community medicine.
