Job Summary:
The General Manager of Corporate Communication and External Affairs to provide strategic leadership for the organization’s public image, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and leading strategic communication initiatives. This role oversees internal and external communications, brand reputation, media relations, corporate social responsibility, and government or regulatory engagement. The position ensures consistent messaging, supports executive leadership, and builds trust with employees, partners, community groups, and the general public.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field;
- At least ten (10) years progressive experience in corporate communication or public affairs, with at least five (5) years in a senior management role
- Experience working in a public sector environment would be an asset
- Experience working in a health care environment would be an asset
