Physiotherapist I (Full Time & Part Time)

Job Summary:

The Physiotherapist I provides direct Physiotherapy care to a mixed caseload of adult and paediatric clients who have been affected by injury, disease, or other causes. The incumbent will identify functional challenges, creating individualized treatment and discharge programs for patients, families, and/ or their caregivers, and will also be expected to manage their caseload independently with supervision provided by senior Physiotherapists. In addition, the Physiotherapist I works as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team and will be expected to actively contribute to injury and illness prevention and wellness strategies and programs of the unit to which they are attached. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• BSc. Degree/ MSc Degree /Doctoral Degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Minimum of one (1) year post clinical training/internship experience
• Current registration with Physiotherapists’ Board, Council of Professions Related to Medicine, Trinidad and Tobago
